Our roots

From rescue service to upward EMS.

SR Rescue preserves the history and service tradition that shaped the organization while focusing its current mission on education and sponsorship.

A legacy of service

The SR Rescue name carries forward a history rooted in emergency medical service and community commitment. This section is intentionally structured so the organization can preserve photographs, milestones, awards, former apparatus and stories as historical material is assembled and verified.

The next chapter

Today, SR Rescue is the Saxtons River Regional Education and Sponsorship Center for Upward EMS, focused on creating pathways into EMS and helping providers continue their professional development.
